belly balm1/2 cup of cocoa butter
2 tablespoons of wheatgerm oil or shea butter
6 tablespoons of sweet almond oil
 2 tablespoons of grated beeswax
 Melt all of the ingredients
together in a double boiler. Remove from the heat and stir the
mixture frequently as it cools. This recipe makes a great base
and you can add essential oils (12 drops per tablespoon of mixture)
to individualise it. Great for tight, itchy bellies. Leg Massage Cream50g anhydrous lanolin
 50ml olive oil
 25ml apricot oil

in a double boiler over a low heat until the lanolin has melted.

into containers. Allow to cool fully before use. Barrier Cream10g beeswax
 25g cocoa butter
 60ml almond oil
 15ml castor oil
15 drops essential oil (lavender, lemon or sandalwood work well)
 Melt the beeswax and
cocoa butter in a double boiler over a low heat. Once they have
melted remove the mixture from the heat and stir in the almond
and castor oil. Combine these really well. Allow the mixture to
cool slightly and beat in the essential oil. Pour into wide mouth
jars and use whenever a protective barrier is needed. Coconut oil cream5g citric acid

room temperature water and essential oils. Beat with a stick blender
for around 30 seconds. Pour into containers. You can use this

 Melt the oil, beeswax
and cocoa butter in a double boiler over a low heat. Once melted,

Pour into jars and allow to cool- stirring if needed. Choc mint lip balm

beeswax over a low heat in a double boiler. Once melted, take
off of the heat and add the vitamin E oil. Allow it to cool fairly
well and then add the peppermint oil. Mix it really well then
pour into containers. The peppermint oil will make your lips tingle
when first applied. If you don't like this then other oils can
be used- or just reduce the amount of peppermint oil.

essential oils, stirring continuously. If the solubiliser gives

Clay mask recipesA clay mask should be applied at least once a week and two to
three times a week for oilier skin types.
Green clayBest for oily skin as it is the most absorbent clay and is great
                for large pores
Red clayBest for normal skin and good for broken capillaries and puffy
eyes. Also makes a great body mud pack for improving muscle tone.
Pink clayBest for dry and sensitive skins as it is very mild. Makes a great
firming mask for the bust, thighs, stomach and upper arms. Very
                moisturising.
 To apply a clay mask,
first start with clean, exfoliated skin. In your hand or a small
dish, mix 2 tsp. clay with 2 tsp distilled water or floral water
until a paste is formed. If desired, add 1-2 drops of an essential
oil synergy and/or 3-5 drops of healing oil (for normal to dry
skin). Apply to skin, being careful to avoid the eye area. Wait
until clay dries completely, then remove the mask with a warm
cloth, using gentle upward strokes. After a clay mask, a facial
massage with an aromatic skin oil can be wonderful and add to
the healing benefits of the mask. Chamomile Cleanser40g cocoa butter
 75ml almond oil
 10 drops chamomile essential oil

 Melt the cocoa butter
in a double boiler over a low heat. Once melted, remove it from
the heat and stir in the almond oil. Wait until it cools slightly
before adding the essential oil so that it doesn't evaporate.
Whisk in the essential oil and pour into a clean jar. To use the
cleanser, rub a small amount over your neck and face in circular
motions. Wipe clean with a cotton ball or soft cloth. Rinse the
cloth and repeat until all the cleanser has been removed. Pat
the face with cold water. Cold Cream #130g beeswax

well combined. Slowly add the water or rosewater while stirring
continually until all is added. Remove the mixture from the heat
and keep stirring until it has cooled and is starting to thicken.
Stir in the essential oil and mix well. Spoon the mixture into
jars. Cold Cream #290ml almond oil
